Fantastic Teachers of Movie Making / Digital Storytelling

Polling/Backchannel Sites

GoSoapBox: A not entirely free (after the trial version) site, but it is an excellent resource for polling students and create a "backchannel" for discussion. It's much cheaper than the clicker feedback systems you might find.

TodaysMeet: a free, easy way to create a "backchannel" discussion

Vocabulary Sites

Quizlet: a flashcard-on-steroids community site started by a high school student. Students can create their own sets or use the ever-growing community sets.

Membean: I added it again, it's that good! It's not free, but you can probably get a free trial.
